Lally Orange Buick Pontiac GMC, Inc. v. Simi Sandhu, 12/22/16
April 20, 2017

A trial court arrived at a valuation of a shareholder’s interest in an automobile dealership corporation by using the shareholder’s testimony of the valuation from the appraisal rights form and declined to adopt either experts’ valuation figure. The trial court also provided no detail as to valuation methods, documentation, or findings. The judicial appraisal under § 607.1330, Fla. Stat. (2013) was not supported by competent, substantial evidence.
